The Feelings Adventure was held on 7 September 2025 at The Artground—and it was magical!

Children arrived early for bonus playtime at the Explore Lost Islands space, which set the tone for a joyful and creative afternoon.

We had the joy of welcoming over 10 children and 15 parents to The Feelings Adventure at The Artground! Many were experiencing the Artground for the first time ever. The session kicked off with storytelling led by Pooja, where she paused at key moments to invite the kids to guess how the characters might be feeling—and even act those emotions out themselves. Their energy and creativity filled the room with laughter and excitement.

And then, Chloe the Unicorn stole the show! The children greeted Chloe and gave her hi-fives until the show wrapped up half an hour later. They were all around Chloe checking if she was real or straight out of the book. Their playful questions and gestures turned the latter part of the event into a truly joyful experience.

To balance the excitement, we guided the group through a gentle “calm-down mission,” practicing a simple mindfulness technique that helped everyone reset and feel centered. The workshop then flowed into hands-on creativity: older kids designed their own vibrant “Feelings Flowers,” while the younger ones (as young as two to three!) enjoyed peaceful mindfulness coloring activities.

It was a beautiful mix of play, expression, and calm reflection—a magical afternoon for both children and parents. We have shared a few quick glimpses of the workshop below.

Workshop Moments

• Storytelling Magic: Pooja’s read-aloud had children guessing emotions, and acting the various emotions with her.
• Chloe’s Energy: Chloe the Unicorn brought laughter and movement, at the meet and greet. Kids jumped, and giggled their way through emotions.
• Creative Crafts: Every child created their very own “Feelings Flower,” proudly holding them up to show how they experience happiness, sadness, or even overwhelm.
• Mindful Ending: We wrapped up with mindful listening and thankfulness that had the whole room buzzing with calm energy.

A joyful, hands-on and free kids weekend workshop designed to help children explore and express their emotions in fun and creative ways.

Event Details

• Date: Sunday, 7 September 2025
• Time: 3:45 PM – 4:30 PM
  (includes bonus playtime in Explore Lost Islands from 3:15 PM – 3:45 PM)
• For Ages: 4 – 7 years old
• Duration: 45 minutes
• Tickets: Free Programme (with $1 booking fee per pax). Up to 2 accompanying adults may attend.

About the Workshop

Emotional awareness is the foundation of lifelong emotional intelligence.
In this workshop, children will:

• Learn to name and understand their feelings
• Discover ways to manage big emotions
• Build kindness and empathy for others
• Express themselves through stories, play, crafts, and reflection

Led by Rainbow Kiddies and our beloved character Chloe the Unicorn, this session promises fun, creativity, and meaningful learning.

• As this is a work-in-development workshop, children and adults will be invited to provide feedback at the end of the session.
